International Christmas Charity Bazaar
Every holiday season, IWAV's proudest moment occurs when the proceeds from our Charity Bazaar are presented to that year's recipients -- several Lithuanian charities which have been hand-chosen and monitored since the previous summer.
Each Christmas Bazaar entails months of planning and coordination. Every member of the Planning Committee volunteers hours of time towards making the bazaar a huge success.
The 7th annual Christmas Charity Bazaar was held on November 29, 2009.
The following five charities shared the 180,000 Litas raised through sales at the 2009 bazaar:
Kaunas 1st Special School
Non-Stationary Social Help Centre in Ukmerge
Nendre Centre for Women and Children
Missing Persons' Families Support Centre
Save the Children Lithuania
